WOMEN’S BOWLING CLUB

Culburra Women’s Bowling Club was formed in 1967 and has always been a strong club in the South Coast District. We have had many players represented on all levels from District through to State.

Culburra has won many pennant flags, the most recent being the Grade 3 and Grade 5 pennants in 2024. The Club continues to have one of the largest number of pennant teams out of all the clubs in the South Coast District. It is often chosen to host District, Inter-District and State Events such as The State Carnival and The State Pennant Play-offs.

Each year we hold a Mixed Charity Day to raise money for local charities. The Culburra & District Rural Fire Service and The Culburra & District Area Health Service are examples of these. We also hold a Friendship Day each year where our closest clubs as well as friends are invited to join us for a fun day on the green with lunch provided.

To finish off the year, we have a mixed Christmas Party and Concert where our multi-talented bowlers present delightful performances.

Championships

We play all Club Championships at our Club including State Singles and Pairs, Triples, Fours.
All minor championships and mixed championships.
Tournaments

Culburra 3 Bowl Triples will be held on 12th June 2024
Culburra Black Swan Triples is held annually
Other events include Warren Halloran Memorial Triples, Norm Chant Shield, Annual Charity Day

Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9.30am
Phone 0473 058 938 between 8.30 and 9.00am to book on the day you wish to play.
New members and visitors are welcome with coaching available if required.
